Hi, I'm Anne.
For a long time, I believed being healthy meant doing everything “right” - eating perfectly, never missing a workout, looking a certain way, and achieving success at work.
I was focused on meeting the expectations I had for myself and the expectations from the media and world around me. From the outside, I appeared to be “healthy” and “successful”.
But underneath it all, I felt overly stressed, insecure, and like something wasn’t quite right. I overworked, over-exercised, and controlled what I ate as ways of managing difficult feelings and creating a sense of control.
Over time, struggles with undereating and digestion, a chronic back injury, and burnout challenged the strategies I’d relied on to cope with life’s challenges.
I began to realize that health and wellbeing isn’t simply about trying to meet external standards.
One of the biggest transformations in my own life was learning to calm my mind through meditation and tune into my own inner voice and values rather than constantly looking outside myself for validation. Understanding my mind and how my thoughts, feelings and beliefs affect my relationship to food, exercise, my body, my work, and relationships has helped me heal my relationship with food, recover from my back injury, build a healthier work-life balance, and discover my professional passion as a health and lifestyle coach!

Hi,

Hi,
I'm
Anne.
For a long time, I believed being healthy meant doing everything “right” - eating perfectly, never missing a workout, looking a certain way, and achieving success at work.

My Background
I’m certified in Health and Lifestyle Coaching and Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness, and I’m also a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology.
Originally from the US, I now live in the Netherlands, where I’ve been learning Dutch and have grown to really appreciate the language and culture. For now, I work primarily in English so I can give my clients the best possible experience.
Outside of work, meditation is a meaningful part of my life, and I enjoy drawing as a creative outlet. I also love being outdoors and staying active—whether I’m cycling, hiking, strength training, or exploring somewhere new in the world.
My Approach
Our mind, body, relationships, work, and everyday habits are deeply connected—and sustainable change comes from understanding those connections.
That’s why my work is centered on health and lifestyle coaching: helping people better understand themselves, navigate change, and fulfill their wellbeing goals. I also offer a dedicated mindful eating program for those who want to strengthen their mind-body connection and develop a more flexible and trusting relationship with food.
My experience as a dietitian in the US healthcare system showed me the value of evidence-based practice. It also sparked my interest in the many factors that shape wellbeing beyond nutrition alone. In clinical settings, time is often focused on addressing immediate physical health needs, leaving less opportunity to explore the personal side of behavior change—what makes a change meaningful to someone, what might get in the way, and how to build the confidence to navigate challenges along the way.
As your health and lifestyle coach, I create space for that deeper exploration. Rather than prescribing exactly what you should do or defining what success should look like, I’m here to help you clarify your own goals and find a path forward that fits your life. Plus, we’ll build on your strengths and self-awareness so that the changes you make feel sustainable and continue to support you long after our work together ends.
